Having a shot again, hoping it hits again

Seriously, this is Batanes?! (Photo courtesy: Google Images)

Since there are already gazillions of entries posted in the SEAIR page, I’m going to make this easy and fast. There are only three reasons why I wanted to be part of SEAIR Batanes Winter Bloggers’ Tour and reach, finally, the heaven that is Batanes:

  1. I wanted to prove to myself that even the storm-favorite province of the Philippines has a little (if not, gigantic!) spot that is breath-taking, because I strongly believe that every place in this country has one.
  2. I’d give anything just to see the Batanes internet pictures in real life.
  3. I prefer to be the one on top (of the Philippine map).

Of course, I also wanted to take advantage of this once in a lifetime opportunity. Especially that SEAIR will be hosting this activity, I know it will be grand. I’ve been part of the Boracay Bloggers’ Tour and I’ve seen with my own eyes how the SEAIR team has managed to give superb service to their customers. Since then, I’ve always looked forward to see and bond with them again.

There’s really something weird about the beautiful pictures of this place because whenever I hear Batanes, all I could think of was strong air and heavy rain. I am someone who strives just to feed her curiosity and I won’t let this chance pass.

I can only count in to my fingers the number of provinces that I’ve set my foot on and to be part of this tour is truly a dream come true. Just what I said on my Boracay Blogger’s Tour entry last September, I’m still not the outdoor type but because of the lucky chance that SEAIR gave me, I’m beginning to see the real wonders of our country and I can’t wait to see more of it. I guess my transformation as the internet, home-based geek to strong, risky and adventurous woman is coming soon and I know in my heart that SEAIR will forever be a part of it.

With crossed fingers, closed eyes and a powerful prayer in hand, I really, really wish to win this one and start 2011 with a joyful heart.

  1. Goodluck mam with the contest and hopefully you get this one… I’m also looking forward to visit Batanes and experience its beauty as we share the same feeling with this place, hopefully early next year. Goodluck again and God bless! 😀
